Dr Nicky Keay

Dr Nicky regularly publishes in medical journals, presents and writes about the reciprocal network interactions of the Endocrine system, exercise, nutrition, health and fitness. She is frequently asked to speak at medical conferences around the world and has recently been commissioned to write a book about hormones, which is due to be published in 2023.

Alongside her role as Chief Medical Office at Forth, Dr Nicky is an Honorary Clinical Lecturer in Medicine at UCL, Honorary Fellow in the Department of Sport and Exercise Sciences at Durham University and former Research Fellow at St. Thomas’ Hospital. Nicky is also a member of the British Menopause Society.

Dr Nicky was the clinical lead in the research and development of Forth’s Female Hormone Mapping product, MyFORM™.  The development of this ground-breaking product was supported by a Government Innovation Grant.

In her spare time Dr Nicky, is a passionate dancer, a full member of the Royal Academy of Dance, as well as a choreographer and teacher. She’s always been active, having competed in swimming, gymnastics and tennis. Dr Nicky authored the British Association of Sports and Exercise (BASEM) education resource on relative energy deficiency in sport (RED-S) and has developed courses for female athletes and dancers endorsed by BASEM.
