Forth is delighted to be recognised in the inaugural BusinessCloud ‘HealthTech 50’ ranking list, which celebrates the UK’s most innovative health technology creators for 2021.

Readers of the online technology magazine and an independent judging panel voted for the 50 trailblazing companies that create solutions delivering social impact.

“We are honoured to be sitting on the ‘HealthTech 50’ list together with a stellar line-up of innovative start-ups, scale-ups and established firms, all using technology for personal and preventative healthcare”; commented Sarah Bolt, CEO and Founder at Forth. “Our mission at Forth is to help people feel at their best throughout life by understanding what is going on inside their body and so they can take the steps needed to improve their health”.

Forth is a pioneer in the growing field of personalised biomarker tracking. Set-up in 2016 the company recently launched a ground-breaking product for female health which combines blood analysis with artificial intelligence to predict how a woman’s hormones fluctuate over their entire cycle.

The HealthTech 50 ranking was voted for alongside the MedTech 50. The final ranking was decided by a combination of selections from an independent judging panel (see below) and a public vote on the 90-strong shortlist across the two categories, which attracted around 1,300 votes.

The Judges:

Leontina Postelnicu, head of health and social care, techUK

Nick Prentice, global volunteer, One HealthTech; interim co-chair, of staff LGBT+ Network at NHS England & NHS Improvement

Abeyna Bubbers-Jones, CEO, Medic Footprints

Lauren Bevan, head of health & social care, BJSS

Jonathan Symcox, editor, BusinessCloud
