Test for existing coronavirus infection with our COVID-19 PCR test or check for past infection of COVID-19 with our antibody finger prick blood test. Both tests are analysed at a UKAS accredited laboratory.

To identify
past infection

This coronavirus antibody test is a finger prick test that can be done at home and sent to our laboratory for analysis. This test indicates if your body has developed antibodies in response to a past infection of the COVID-19 virus. These antibodies can become detectable 14 days after the onset of symptoms.

PCR Test

To identify
current infection

This coronavirus test will indicate if you are currently infected with the COVID-19 infection. This is a throat and nose swab test which can be self-collected by individuals at home and then posted via Tracked 24 to a UKAS accredited laboratory for analysis. Samples should be collected between 1-5 days from the onset of symptoms. International travellers returning to the UK should take the test 5 days after arrival. Results are available 2 working days from receipt.

Collect your sample

Follow the instructions in your kit to collect your sample.

Post sample to Lab

Use the Tracked 24 envelope supplied to return your sample. Make a note of your tracking number then post in a priority post box that same day.

View results

Results will be available on your secure dashboard 2 working days after the lab receives your sample.

Important Information

Please note that the laboratory is legally obliged to share the details of any positive PCR results with NHS Test and Trace.

If taking a PCR test for travel purposes we cannot guarantee you will receive your results before your travel date.

Please follow all instructions very carefully. The PCR test requires the user to collect a swab from the nose and throat. If instructions are not followed precisely and contact is not made correctly with the nose and throat we may not be able to provide a result.

All our lab partners hold UKAS 15189 accreditation and are registeredwith the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Can I buy tests for my children?

Unfortunately, our service and therefore this test is strictly for adults aged 18 years and over.

Service Status

Kit Dispatch

Kits ordered before 2pm from Monday to Friday continue to be dispatched same day via First Class Royal Mail. After 2pm your kit will be dispatched the next working day. Orders placed on the weekend will be despatched Monday.

Postal Service

There may be some delays in parts of the UK while the Royal Mail catches up with their Christmas backlog. Click here for updates on the Royal Mail service.

Home phlebotomy appointments

Our home phlebotomy service is running but please be aware, if you or anyone in your household have experienced symptoms of COVID-19 within the last 14 days, due to the current government guidelines, we are unable to arrange an appointment at this time. Due to a high demand for nurses, along with current covid restrictions around the UK, there may be a delay in providing an appointment.
