Deposit stool

Deposit your stool sample ensuring it does not touch any toilet water or urine.

Open collection tube

Open the collection tube without spilling any of the stabilisation liquid.

Collect sample

Collect your sample by scooping up a small amount of stool as shown in the picture.

Place sample in tube

Place the spoon with the sample into the collection tube and secure the lid. Do not reopen the tube.

Seal sample in safety bag

Place the collection tube with your sample into the safety bag and ensure that it is sealed.

Package your sample

Insert the safety bag into the return envelope and seal it.

Post your sample

Post the package using a Royal Mail priority postbox.
