Our hormone health blood tests provide insights into key hormone levels for both men and women. These tests monitor hormones that affect various aspects of your health, including fertility, mood, energy levels, and overall wellbeing. For women, our tests help track hormones such as oestrogen and progesterone, which are crucial for reproductive health, menstrual cycles, and with our MyFORM® tests, can be used to screen for perimenopause. For men, testosterone levels are monitored to assess factors like energy, libido, and muscle mass. Understanding your hormone balance can identify imbalances that contribute to conditions like fatigue, mood swings, and weight changes. By providing actionable insights, our tests help you take control of your health, improving your quality of life and guiding potential treatment options.

Our hormone tests for women include fertility tests, menopause blood tests and our groundbreaking female hormone mapping test. Home blood tests for hormones make it easy to check and track what’s going on. Whether you want to understand the cause of symptoms related to a hormone imbalance or start a family, our hormone tests can help.
Keeping track of your male hormones (androgens) can help you understand the reason behind symptoms such as fatigue, hair loss, reduced sports performance and loss of libido. Testosterone is the main male hormone, and our male hormones test checks this, alongside other markers important for your health.

How do I collect a blood sample for hormone testing?
Collecting your sample is quick and straightforward. For fingerprick kits, we recommend collecting the sample from either your ring or middle finger on your non-dominant hand. If you use hormone gels such as HRT or TRT, do not collect a blood sample from the same hand that you apply the gel with—this avoids contamination and ensures accurate results.
When is the best time to collect my blood sample?
Some hormone tests need to be done at specific times, such as before 10 am, or on certain days of your menstrual cycle. Check the specific instructions provided on the product page and with your test kit to determine the optimal time for sample collection.
What are the benefits of testing my hormone levels?
Hormone testing can help detect imbalances that may affect various aspects of your health, including mood, energy levels, metabolism, and reproductive health. Early detection allows for timely intervention and personalised treatment plans to restore balance and alleviate symptoms.
Can hormone testing assist with fertility planning?
Yes, hormone tests can provide essential information about hormonal patterns related to ovulation and reproductive health, aiding in fertility management and increasing the chances of successful conception.
Are there any preparations required before collecting my sample?
To ensure a successful sample collection, stay well-hydrated, warm your hands before pricking your finger, and read the instructions thoroughly before starting. Setting aside up to 30 minutes for preparation and collection can help make the process smoother.
How long does it take to receive my test results?
Once the laboratory receives your sample, results are typically available within 2 working days. You will be notified via email when your personalised report is ready to view on your secure online dashboard. The MyFORM tests require 2 blood samples – one from day 14 and one from day 21 of your menstrual cycle. You’ll receive your results after the 2nd sample has been sent back.
Can I test my hormone levels if I’m using HRT?
Yes, our Female Hormone Imbalance test is suitable for women using hormone replacement therapy (HRT). It’s a valuable way to track how your hormone levels are responding to treatment over time. Regular testing can help you and your healthcare provider understand whether your HRT is having the desired effect and make informed decisions about any adjustments needed.
How accurate are at-home hormone tests compared to those conducted in a clinical setting?
At-home hormone tests use the same laboratory analysis methods as those conducted in clinics, providing accurate and reliable results when instructions are followed correctly.
