Can I send my sample during a Bank Holiday?

If you have been asked to collect your sample on a specific day of your cycle e.g. day 3, 14, 21 but lands on a Friday, we recommend you collect your sample the day before (Thursday). If your required day falls over the weekend, collect your sample on the following Monday and remember to post in a priority post box in time for that day’s collection.

How do I reschedule my phlebotomy appointment?

In the instance you need to reschedule your clinic appointment please call the telephone number within the order confirmation email as soon as you possibly can. If you need to cancel your home phlebotomy appointment, please contact our phlebotomy partner on the same telephone number that your appointment was arranged on.

How do I book an appointment within a clinic?

What’s the difference between clinic appointments and home appointments?

For clinic appointments we will dispatch a phlebotomy test kit which will contain everything required for a healthcare professional to collect your sample via a vein. For home appointments a nurse will be arranged to come to your home to collect your sample. We dispatch a phlebotomy test kit to your home address so this is readily available for the appointment.

There are two methods of blood sample collection, finger prick and phlebotomy. Most of our tests use a finger prick blood sample collection, but others that require a larger sample of blood use a phlebotomy blood sample collection method.

Can I get my blood taken at home?
